We Thank You~

We wanted to say a BIG Thank you, to
Jackie and Dorothy.
They truly showed Mom love
in every way - totally caring, totally giving,
always there and SUCH
a VERY BIG support to us.
What would have done with these
SPECIAL LADIES?!

Saturday afternoon, April 17th,
we invited Dorothy and Jackie
over to Becky's to honor them and also Mom.
It was a special time of sharing about Mom~
sharing special memories~
recalling Mom's last few days on earth~
sharing both joys and tears~
a bonding time together as sisters in Christ.
They lovingly gave of themselves over and above.
Jackie and Dorothy were such BIG encouragements
to our Mom.
They join with us in our celebration that MOM IS with Jesus!

Val and Beka~

After enjoying both food and fellowship,
we went outdoors~ it was a beautiful day!

We had such a wonderful time together!
Jackie and Dorothy - you meant the world to our Mom.
You were a SPECIAL gift to her; it was very obvious!
We love you!

We are so glad that Beka could come home
this weekend. She has only 2 more weeks
and she will be finished with school!
In less than 2 months, Beka will be
a beautiful bride~ Greg's bride :)

Val and Beka blessed Jackie and Dorothy with
a beautiful pot of flowers.

David and Becky planted some trees in Mom's honor.
Flowering plum trees, crab apple, flowering pear....

It might be hard to spot them in the pictures,
but what a wonderful idea to plant them for Mom.

Val and Beka also planted trees and shrubs.

This flowering pear tree is in honor of Mom.

Jordan drew a picture of Grandma Betty in heaven for me.
He came home from school all excited about
this picture he drew for me.
Mom is at the top of the picture.
She is in heaven with a rainbow around her
(the 4 colored lines around her).
Jordan is below Grandma Betty,
and he drew me, Grama, beside him.
Zoe is to the right of me.
Notice the heart below us.
Precious~
I told Jordan I would keep this forever.
He smiled.

Here is a picture of the artist - Jordan.
He caught a fish this morning with his Daddy.
Notice the bandage above his eye - 5 stitches.
He was playing with his mommy and cousin Owen,
and ran straight into a sharp corner.

Jesus loves the little children~
and right now Jesus is loving on MOM~
she is safe in the arms of Jesus - literally!!!!!!!!
