Emily's sisters gave Emily a wonderful Bridal Shower~

The ladies at Crossroads Community Church also helped with the shower.

Josh's mom, Deborah is in the front.
Michelle is on the left and Carol is on the right with Emily in the middle.
Josh has two sisters and two brothers.

The table was beautifully decorated with yummy food.

Grandma Betty made this quilt, Colorado Log Cabin.
We displayed the quilt at Emily's shower.

The ladies at the shower all circled Emily,
laying hands on her and prayed,
silently and aloud~
asking God for His special blessing on Josh and Emily.
It touched me, as Emily's mom, to hear others pray for Emily.
She has a wonderful group of ladies at the church.
Emily and Josh are involved in a Life group at the church.
The young lady in the yellow beside Emily is Kristi, Emily's RA
and dear friend at college. Next to Kristi, is Barbara Matthews
in the white pants. She and her husband 'adopted' Emily,
including her in many of their family activities
during the year at church and college.
Josh's bachelor party was in her home.
Then beside Barbara in the green and blue print dress
is Mrs. B. Her husband is one of the professors
at the college. He has been very special to Emily - a great caring, professor.
During the weekend I witnessed the care and the love
that the church as for Emily and Josh.
