We had a special visitor this week.
Paul Devadass.
He came into Boise by Greyhound bus.
He attended a conference in Iowa
and arrived late October from India.

We enjoyed a meal at Ben and Katie's on Monday evening.
Reece and Grandpa George were reading books together.

I am not sure who is reading to who.

Paul and Owen are playing Uno.

Katie and Owen went shopping for
the 114 children in the Grebe Hope Orphanage.

They found many fun things for the children....
very thoughtful and loving of Katie and Owen.
It was enough to FILL a carry on suitcase.

Now Katie joined in the Uno game.

Tuesday evening we enjoyed another meal out
at Cruz and Amy's home.
Can you believe on Wednesday evening ~
I had to eat left overs at home....:(

Paul enjoyed holding little Taylor Belle~

Wednesday morning, 6 am, Paul and I left for the bus station.
He is heading to Oregon. He will be sharing in the
Lebanon Evangelical Church before going back to India.
There are about 50 orphaned children yet who need sponsors.
Home, food, and education for only $12/month in northern India.
We certainly couldn't do that in the United States.
They need 7 bicycles, one refrigerator, one washer.
There are native pastors who need help with support as well.
Paul needs your prayers - it has been hard without
his best friend, his wife, Priscilla by his side.
She was the #1 teacher and helper with the children.
I know she helped put them to bed - they depended on her
for so many things.
It is hard to understand why the Lord would take Priscilla -
she was doing so much good for these precious children.
Without the Lord, Paul would not have made it this past year.
To have such a special bond is a gift from God!

God is too wise to be mistaken~
God is too good to be unkind~
When you don't understand~
When you can't trace His hand,
TRUST HIS HEART!
